She climbed the playground ladder
Such a grown up girl

No snow, just more rain
Wimpiest wettest winter
Toboggan dreams fade

Doing my snow dance
With inside-out pajamas
Let those flurries fly

Crawling into bed
Wrapped in the sweet luxury
Of clean silky sheets

Watched too much TV
During my sick days at home
My brain turned to mush

Bath bed and play times
Plus bringing meals to my door
Make him Super Dad

Silly gosh darn flu
Grateful for such a mild case
But quarantine stinks
