Almost lost in the shadow
Of a great night out

Children on field trips
A man who brings me cheesecake
Things that make me smile

Nothing in the fridge
And too much in the hamper
It must be Thursday

Homemade apple tart
Left neatly on my doorstep
Blessed with kind neighbors

Evening Mommy walks
After the kids are in bed
Make my days better

Sometimes life speeds by
A cheetah on a mission

I sit in the hall
